My Story

I grew up with 2 brothers and a one eyed cat on a dusty clay road in a town called Banyuwangi in Wonderful Indonesia. We were lucky our parents were in education but it created some pressure. To overcome the fear of not being good enough, I became a bit of a perfectionist.

My heart loved creative work, but I followed my head and studied as a Junior Doctor. Turned out I loved it - learning about the human body to help people gave me a sense of purpose.

Curiosity to see the world meant I chose to move to Australia at 21. I love the culture and life here especially the freedom to authentically express who you are and to chase your dreams.

To help support our family, I chose to compliment my medical studies with work in the beauty industry - as a model and working with cosmetics.

In the makeup artistry, I found my calling to express my combined passions for technical application and creative instinct. I’ve chosen this work because I love it. I like the industry. I enjoy sharing stories with the the people I meet. It empowers me, and today, I even embrace being a bit of a nerd - one that likes fun and a good laugh.

My mission is to create transformational and empowering beauty experiences that exceed expectations and I bring my commitment and dedication to every client.

Just like the beauty services we offer you, our spaces sparkle with a fresh radiance guaranteed to revive your senses. We’re committed to providing you with the highest standard of excellence and professionalism, so you feel comfortable and relaxed during your experience.

Dollvyn provides a dedicated space for express treatments and can be reserved for wellness parties, events and special occasions.
